pour l’amour de paris

We just returned from our shopping trip in France.. we found many lovely treasures which we will soon be adding to our shop!
In the meantime here are some of our favorite spots in Paris!
~
Parisian Brocante (Flea Market)
There are many flea markets in Paris but we went to this one which is known to be one of the best..
Marche aux Puces de la Porte de Vanves
Not so much classic antiques like furniture but more vintage art, ephemera, linens, clothing, porcelain, and toys. The most amazing selection I’ve ever seen, being residents of Brooklyn we frequent the Brooklyn Flea but the Brooklyn Flea is a mockery of a flea market when compared to this Parisian classic. Check out the last photo showing the frequenters of this weekly event, many older, even elderly folks which I liked, it was a nice mixer of people as opposed to just young “hipsters”. And finally there were genuine deals to be had, i.e. whole vintage plate sets for 3 Euro!
This boutique is sweetly hidden down a classic Parisian alleyway off the grand Rue Saint Honore.
Simply put, classic french lingerie.. need I say more.
Repetto
Classic french ballet flats ♥
Of all the pastries that I tried in Paris, these eclairs were hands down my favorite treat.. Each delicately put together with interesting combinations of flavor.. located in the Marais neighborhood, which also happened to be my most loved area to walk around..
One word macaroons!
