The setting is sculpted in 12K gold with openwork bombé shoulders and a wide band that flows toward the center—designed to draw the eye straight to the stone. The gold has a subtle rosy cast, a result of its lower karat alloy, adding softness to the substantial form. The metalwork moves in low, horizontal waves that echo through the setting—restrained but unmistakably intentional.
