This design is based on the iconic six-prong setting introduced by Tiffany in 1886, celebrated for lifting the diamond above the band to maximize its brilliance. The old European cut, known for its rounded shape, high crown, and large facets, captures light beautifully with a soft, romantic sparkle—a hallmark of diamonds hand-cut in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Signed Tiffany & Co. and engraved with a personal inscription that reads, “E.C.L. to A.?? Nov. 13th 1902,” this piece carries a rich history.
