Vintage late Edwardian ring made in 18k yellow gold and platinum. Set with three old European cut diamonds weighing approximately .50 carats total. Accented with rose cut diamonds. Circa 1915.
This ring features the best of both jewelry eras. It has classic Edwardian details such as delicate venting work and a mixed metal mounting, but the bezel set diamonds hint at the Deco era to come.
Diamond and gold mining has caused devastation in areas such as Africa, wreaking havoc on delicate ecosystems and communities. Choosing to go vintage, you are eliminating the need for more mining and lessening the demand for new diamonds.
